The Jr. Development League serves as the foundation of our pipeline, preparing athletes to move into the Jr. Division competitive league and eventually pursue opportunities such as RBI tournaments and higher-level competition. It’s where players fall in love with the game, learn how to compete the right way, and begin their journey as River City Giants—on and off the field.

Our Development Team is designed for players who may need a little extra time, instruction, and reps before moving up to a more competitive level. This team is perfect for athletes who are new to baseball, still learning the fundamentals, or developing confidence in the game. We focus on skill development, baseball IQ, teamwork, and creating a positive environment where every player can grow at their own pace. The goal is to build a strong foundation while preparing each athlete for the next level when they are ready.
